My Highlights of 2015!!!

My highlights for this year was camp, tool kit day, prize giving, stardome and many other fun events. At camp I had the most funnest time ever. We had surfing, challenges, giants ladder and many more fun and awesome activities. My other highlight was having Mrs Kingston and Mrs Wright as my teachers. I am going to miss them next year.

Learning goals of 2015!

My learning goal for 2015 was to be a helpful, positive, confident and respectful learner. My other goal was to learn how to be a expert coder.

What I am looking forward to for 2016!

Next year I am looking forward to making new friends and learning about my new teacher and staff. I am also looking forward to be learning in Mt Roskill because there are lots of cool new things to learn.

This year was an awesome year. Because I was working with two of the best teachers of the year. I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU TO MRS KINGSTON AND MRS WRIGHT! I AM REALLY GOING TO MISS YOU!

Happy Goodbyes Hay Park School

Hello people of the internet.

Here is my slide about graduation. This year is going to be the last of primary school. Next year I will be going Mt Roskill Intermediate. We made this slide because all the year 6 will be going to intermediate next year. I wish I had to stay at this school for one more year. This school was just amazing and astonishing. I am going to miss great and wonderful teachers from this amazing and beautiful school. Oh and if you graduated please comment down below and tell me if you have any cool ideas for graduation.

Passion Project Progress Day 2

I typed about how me and Damien are getting so much work done. But our team mates
(Lyle and Peter) seem to not be working on the presentation. So on slide number 3 there

Passion Project Progress

This is my presentation that has my progress about my Passion Project. This
presentation will be on going for this week and next week (Wk 7 and Wk 8).
On this presentation I will be screenshoting my progress of my passion project.

ThinkBoards - Showing understanding of problems

Here is my Think Board about positive and negative integers. We use think boards
to show that we understand something. For example we had to solve this integer problem
by using what we know and understand about integers. The right side box is how we solved
the problem. For the bottom box you have to write a word problem that is based on the problem.
On the left side you have to write 10 different problems. And for the top you have to make a model
or draw a visual example of how you solved this problem. I hope you enjoy this blogpost please give me feedback in the comments.

Google Expedition Presentation

Here is me and Senes Google Expedition presentation about the Burj Khalifa and
Google Cardboard. We made this presentation because we had a try of the Google
Expedition Program on Thursday. This presentation will give you formal info about Google

Student Toolkits

Today we had a Tool Kit day. New Windsor came to our school to participate
in the Tool Kit. We all had a great time. There were loads of different people
and cool prizes to be won. We all got to participate in a Tool kit. It was really
awesome and tiring. I got to present which was pretty AWESOME. Here is my

Floodland Debate Yes/No

SunSmart Video - How to protect yourself from the sun!

Here is a Sock Puppet video that me Damien and Rita created. The key message
of this video is to were a sunhat during summer. Because you might get sunburnt.

What have been your learning highlights this term?

My highlights of this term would be Writing and Movie Making. This term I think I improved on my writing since last term. Which I am proud of. I also learnt how to movie make. I learnt how to record properly and how to take pictures properly. I also loved learning how to movie (or video) edit. Which is pretty awesome.

What were your Learner Profile goals for Term 3? Have your goals changed? Are you on track to meet your goals?

I am on track to meet my maths, writing and reading goals. I have been improving by practising my addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I have also been following up on each of the strategy's I learn in maths. I have also been improving in my writing by watching educational videos. I have been improving my reading by reading 20 mins every night.

As you look back at your learning so far, what's one thing that you would like to try to improve upon?

I would probably like to improve on summarising maths. I find summarising hard because its just really hard to remember lots of things at once.

My Whai String Game Movie

Here is a the movie I made with my group (Damien, Sene, Jeannet, Rachael and Toto).
This movie is about how people use to have fun back in the olden days. They had fun
by playing hand games and string games. The first thing we did was story board our scenes.
Then we had a session were we recorded which was awesome. At the end we edited our movies in Imovie.
Which pretty awesome as well. Then we watched it. The game was named Whai. Each pattern you make is associated with a ritual story. I hope you enjoy the video and please comment bellow.

Hobsonville Magisto Video

Here is a Magisto video. This video was created was pictures and videos that we took at the Hobsonville. In this video you will see what the places looks like and what we did there and what we learnt. Which was pretty awesome.
